Dance is a popular subject taught to all years through KS3 up to KS5. We have recently introduced A Level Dance into our curriculum which is an exciting new addition to it.
Co-curricular activities such as House Dance, Rock Challenge, Great Big Dance Off & KS3 clubs help foster a love for the subject in students with clubs and competition playing an important role in school life.
The Dance department hosts an annual GCSE & A Level Dance showcase which involves a range of students from across the school who perform in KS4 & KS5 choreography.
Additionally, frequent theatre trips and dance conventions allow students to broaden their knowledge of a range of professional dance works.
