What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding includes all of the actions we take to promote the welfare of our students and protect them from harm by:
- protecting children from abuse and maltreatment
- preventing harm to children’s health or development
- ensuring children grow up with the provision of safe and effective care
- taking action to enable all children and young people to have the best outcomes.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead at AHS and Designated Teacher for Looked After Children is Mrs H Queralt
